I know this must be the lamest question ever, but I have tried to figure it out and I am truly stumped.

I can enter all of my doodles but for each new doodle I enter when I want to enter pedigree info I am only given options of my doodles that I have all ready entered - of course they are not related to my other doodles...

Hope this makes sense
Holly

Your question is not lame. Do you accidentally have your dogs set to "active dams" or "active sires"

Have you entered all the dogs on the pedigree in your database?

I am wanting to be able to enter a dog I purchased pedigree - I do not want to have to enter each of his parents, grandparents... as separate dogs I just want to list them on his pedigree I do not want to have to add each ancestor into my data base

To create any pedigree you must enter each dog in the pedigree in the database. You don't need to enter every detail about the dog. I just enter the reg. name, gender and breed. It goes really fast. Did that answer your question?
